Weekend Trips

Post 58 offers trips on weekends once or twice each month.  Typical destinations involve Northwest peaks, backpack trips, and caving.  The cost of these trips is usually limited to the cost of gasoline and camping.

Hiking

Conditioning hikes are crucial to success on mountain climbs. As a requisite for summer climbs, students do at least two hikes with the post. Ranging from a few miles to over ten, there are quite a few hikes offered each pre-mountaineering season.
