Post58 Bend Chapter
We are thrilled to announce that the Bend chapter of Post 58 will begin operating this summer!
Post 58 will bring inclusive and affordable outdoor adventures to teenagers in Central Oregon. The Post provides an opportunity for high school students to participate in challenging outdoor adventures including mountain climbing, backpacking, biking and rock climbing. These trips are led by experienced and trained outdoor leaders.
The Post is largely student led. Students arrange activities such as meetings, rock gym nights, overnight trips, service projects, etc. The Post members meet once each month. Volunteer advisors from the Bend area work with the students in planning activities, and participate in all outdoor trips. Students pay a membership fee of $95 a year to have access to all Post activities.
